this article is about Persepolis a graphic novel or comic book written by Marjane Satrapi. Graphic novels use pictures as well as writing to tell he story. Satrapi talks about many horrible experiences that took place during her childhood. Some of those include mass murders, bombing and executions.
When i read this i was in complete shock i didn't think the children would see these horrible event happen. i knew terrible stuff like this happened all the time during war however i did not know the extent. i enjoyed seeing illustrations that went along with the graphic novel or comic book at the writer prefers it to be named. the pictures helped me to better understand the whole point of the story.

I can see how hear about children seeing those images couple be disturbing. They are much too young to take on such harsh and blunt images. These types of situations could really corrupt an adolescent's mind and possible adulthood. The novels did, however open people's eyes up to what is really going on in the community. Satrapi felt that a lot of people were ignoring the truth so she gave them reality checks.

Yes now we know why todays youth is so much more mature then in the past. People just over look what is happening to kids right next to them. they are more focused on how media impacts them. granted that makes things worse but a traumatic home life or environment is much more corrupting then anything the media can show.
